Jerry Dell Farm is located in Dryden with their farm store located in Freeville, just north east of Ithaca. Started in 1946 by Gerald and Ardella Sherman in the scenic hills of Dryden, New York, Jerry Dell Farm is still family owned and operated. In 2010, we opened a second location in Freeville, New York to expand our production. Combined, we currently milk over 450 cows of the 950-head herd of cows, heifers and calves. We are certified organic through the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York.

Sunset View Creamery is located on Hoffarms Dairy, a century farm located outside of Odessa, New York, 15 minutes South of Watkins Glen. This Farmstead/Artisan Cheese Production Facility is operated, along with the farm, by the 4th and 5th generation of the Hoffman Family.

Finger Lakes Farmstead Cheese Company produces Gouda style cheeses from the Taber Family Farm herd of Holsteins. Raw milk production creates a creamy, rich product that is cave aged on soft wood boards, boards that were actually cut from trees that were growing on the farm, at one time.

Keeley's Cheese Company, on the East side of Cayuga Lake, is home to McGarr Farms. Their grazing herd of Registered Holstein and Jersey cows produces the high quality milk that Keeley turns into her signature cheeses.

Across the Pond: A semi-soft, washed rind cheese.  Made from raw milk of Holstein and Jersey cows.  Cave-aged over 60 days, this cheese is pleasantly pungent and super creamy, with a complex, earthy flavor. $15/pound
Across the Pond Reserve: A slightly firmer semi-soft cheese reminiscent of the tomme style, with a dry, brushed rind. Reserve is also made with raw milk, and its natural rind imparts a pleasantly nutty flavor. $15/pound

Engelbert Farms is a certified organic farm in Nichols, NY, farming in the same location since 1911. It is a true family farm with six family members making their living on the farm. Sons Joe and John represent the 5th generation at this location. Engelbert Farms has been farming organically since 1981, and certified organic since 1984. Cheese is made from the milk of organic, crossbreed cows who are on pasture from April through November. The Engelberts proudly point out they make their living “with” their cows, not “from” them! Farm store is open Friday and Saturday from 10 to 3, year round. Special extended hours for Finger Lakes Cheese Trail open house dates.

Hillcrest Dairy, in Moravia, produces Swiss and Old Fashioned Raw Milk Cheddars. The farm feeds the cows a diet of grasses and non-GMO (Genetically Modified) grains. Hillcrest Dairy is located at 66 W Cayuga Street (Route 38), Moravia, NY 13118, 10 miles south of Auburn, and directly east of King Ferry.

Side Hill Acres Goat Dairy, is located in picturesque Candor, a short, scenic drive from Ithaca or Binhmton. Since 1987 Russell and Rita Kellog have been an established goat dairy. Snow Farm Creamery is based in the great Brooktondale, NY. The Creamery started in late 2010 with the idea to process our cows' milk for people in the area. Our first venture...raw milk cheese.

Francis Snow had a small creamery of his own back in the early 1900's where he made butter and cheese for sale. Some sales were local others were packaged and shipped to NYC by train.

Today, we make all our cheese from high quality raw milk. After a combination of cheese cultures, rennet, heat , salt, and waiting we age our cheeses for a minimum of 60 days in a cheese cave. The FDA sets 60 days as a requirement for all raw milk cheeses. Some of our cheeses we age more than 60 days, as certain desirable flavors develop within the cheese over time. In some cheeses we use animal rennet, others we use vegetable rennet. The choice depends on the type of flavors we want to develop within the cheese as it ages.

Our cheese are available at the Brookton's Market, but call the farm, and if we're available we'd be happy to give you a tour and tasting.

4 Tin Fish Farm, located in Conquest and just a short trip from Syracuse, is a family owned and operated micro goat dairy. The farm initially started out as a hobby, but as our passion grew, we began to shift our thinking as to how we might bring what we love to the public. Our goal is to provide farmstead cheese to local customers and raise quality Alpine dairy goats. Our cheeses are currently available at Bet the Farm Gourmet Market in Aurora, but with a week or so's notice, we will be happy to welcome you on our farm.
